Oh yeahhh, any sane fella will not see that as make up but as face paints.. From them, i realised the ability of how make up can change a person's face and even persona.. I realised the power makeup has because i turn heads when i have it on.. Probably because i was rather bad at it initially.. hehe :p

Soon enough, i was on the road of self discovery on the "PLEASE DO NOT" list..
Lemme share with you some which i might have committed but you should learn from it..
- BLACK lipstick is unnecessary no matter how gothic/metal you are [ i know this best because i am very involved in my local subculture scene ].. Unless your intention is to look really, really scary in a bad, unflattering way or it's HALLOWEEN.. Then go ahead baby!
- Okay, and so you think the heavier the foundation, the more coverage you get and you'll have the exceptionally flawless skin models have in pictures while you are out clubbing for the night........ That's a myth, my dear.. Heavy foundation will "melt" when you perspire and just clog up pores if you do not remove them thoroughly.. go for a lighter base because when you perspire,you will have a nice glowy skin instead of a wax-figure melting look alike.. Plus, who cares about bad skin in the night.. There is not that much light in clubs anyway.. Heavy base are great for photography, not a friday night out.

- Blushers make you look exceptionally radiant but too much of it makes you look like you had seafood allergies or sunburn on the face.. Enough said and i do not need to show you how that looks -_-
- False eyelashes are easy to apple and get carried away with.. I am a victim for sure.. If your lashes are HUGE, it will look very drag queen-ish instead of what most of you are trying to achieve, the pretty princess face.. Lashes depend on the occasion and your style.. If you are loud, oh please go ahead and wear humongous lashes.. If you are the girl-next-door, an eyelash curler and an good mascara such as Maybelline XXL would be sufficient.
I know it's not advisable but i'm stubborn on some days :)
- Lastly, go for eyeshadow colors that flatter your skin tones.. Experiment and get opinions.. For myself, i do not like greens and blues because i find them a lil hard to pull off.. What suits a person might not suit you.. General guideline would be fair skin ladies should stay away from dark shades and tanned ladies should avoid whites/silver.. it is clear the reason behind the guideline is due to contrast.. contrast can be classy or plain creepy.. henceforth, experiment awayyyyy!
